I've worked really hard to create a formant synth for the ZOIA.
The patch is controlled over MIDI, and is listening for notes coming in from MIDI channel 1, as well as after touch, velocity, pitch bend and mod wheel.
I've created a nifty control page on the first page that greets you when you open the patch. From this page you can control various aspects of the patch, without needing to reach into the scary depths of the patch.
Feel free to customise the patch in any way you need. The CPU use is pretty much in the 90-95% region, so if you're planning to continue on the patch I'd suggest you go to the reverb page, and delete the reverb. It will not break the patch, and will instead free up a good amount of CPU, so that you can start expanding the patch.
The ZOIA is a modular in a box, available in two shapes. Guitar pedal version, and Eurorack version. Patches between the two formats are interchangeable and compatible.
The patch file 063_ZOIA_VoiVoi.bin is compressed into a ZIP file. Uncompress it before putting it on the ZOIA microSD-card. Import it using the ZOIA's system menu, any place you see fit.
A beautiful singing ZOIA formant synth patch for playing with MIDI.
